we discovered that we had failed to return to NY w/Charles' BABY.
(whom you may recall from having 1st been introduced here)
Yes, wherever Charles goes,
he has his own little travel bag that accompanies :)
It would appear that no matter how hard we try,
we seem to be notorious for leaving 1 thing behind.
For instance,
.
upon arrival this weekend -
fresh off the train and packed into T's car -
Matt was instantly reminded of the lb. of coffee he had ground as a house gift...
... that was still sitting in our refrigerator back in Brooklyn.
.
I myself -
who had arrived a day ahead of the boys -
(for a lil'extra 1-on-1 time w/my faves) ;)
sent a text-list of items back to my mr. that night upon discovering EVERYTHING I HAD FORGOTTEN TO BRING W/ME IN THE 1st PLACE...
.
.
.
I'm normally a very organized person.
Therefore clearly, this is a curse.
And through no fault of my own.
.
And sadly it wasn't until we were back in Brooklyn Wednesday night -
w/Mr. Jenkins and his strong sniffer out on the hunt at bedtime -
that we discovered...
we had done it again.
An APB was immediately sent out via text:

Hey uncle Adam & aunt T,
My dumb Mom & Dad left my baby @ ur house & I
am pissed. They think they can pass off
imitations on me bc Im blind but Im not
fooled. Pls let them know if u find her. Her
name is Pearl & I need her for bedtime. :(
Thanks - pugs&kisses, Charles
In the morning, we had our response...

coffee = baby.
Curses.
